One man IT department. Should I be asking for help?

Like the title suggests, I'm a one man IT department for a small/medium sized company. Lately I've been thinking of lobbying for a second person to help out as it feels like projects that should take a week take a month because I'm juggling six of them at a time. But I'm wondering how the staffing is setup for other people in similarly sized companies.  Showbox Tutuapp Vidmate


I perform support for everything from end-users tech support to Oracle DB administration. If it connects to the network I'm in charge of keeping it running, updated, secure, backed up, etc. I keep trying to write this without it spiraling into a woe is me the poor IT guy post, so I'll just leave it as simple as this.
