Class 'DB' not found on line 111
« on: February 12, 2010, 12:10:25 PM »
v. 1.6.2

I have downloaded the existing script from our shared webhosting space onto the local machine using wampserver. I have also tried the same with XAMP with same results.

The script works just fine online, but fails to work on the local machine.
The config.php has been configured properly, but the following error is still there.

[error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Fatal error:  Class 'DB' not found in C:\\wamp\\www\\feng\\init.php on line 111

Does anybody have any pointers?

thanks.

You have to delete the contents of the cache folder, it contains hardcoded paths of your other server. I just ran into this problem and went searching for a config file that is auto generated, found it in the cache dir.

Old thread, but this was the exact error message I was receiving when I tried to restore my feng db (3.x something) on a "new" (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) server. After I tried everything else, I figured I'd try updating feng by running the following in a terminal to see if that did anything:

Code: [Select]
php /var/www/html/feng/public/upgrade/console.php
...and noticed it said "Error: Extension 'gd' is not loaded. So I installed that...

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install php5-gd
...restarted apache...

Code: [Select]
sudo service apache2 restart
...and now it works. Not sure why gd would trigger a database error, but whatever. Hope this helps someone.
