No problem.
Yes, I agree it may cause confusions, but what it means is that whenever you update an object or make a comment on it, you get autosubscribed, so if someone else comments or make changes on it, you will receive a notification.

The documentation is quite out of date in some areas.. but then again, it is of Wiki content, so anyone can help updating it. If you would like to do so, please go ahead.

Best regards,
Francisco

Session "default" started at 2011-10-26T15:27:07+0000
#1 ERROR: Error: set_time_limit() has been disabled for security reasons in '/www/docs/gipegasus.com.ar/public_html/fengoffice/application/controllers/MailController.class.php' on line 896 (error code: 2)

Hello, welcome to Feng Office Forums!
That could be due to an authentication issue that happens due to the Gmail captcha, which you would have to disable first.

Best regards,
Francisco

In that case make sure your mail server is not blocking your Feng Office installation server or alike, and that all the settings are indeed fine, because it certainly is a problem on the authentication with it.

Best regards,
Francisco

Gustavo

In that case you should try enabling the 'DEBUG' option and turning it into 'true' at the config/config.php and then look at the cache/log.php for further details.

Francisco

It may sound funny but this problem had a very simple solution.  Set the smtp server to localhost.  And thats it.

I configured a account email to SMTP gmail and works well.
Then I configured Notification to send notification. However when I select  "Test outgoing mail settings" in the notification section it doesn't work the following error is shown "Error 500: Internal Server Error"; The same happens qhen a create a new atsk and try to assign to someone and want tos end a notification; The notification is not sent and the previous error message is reported.

Any one has any suggestion?

These forums seem pretty quiet after 2011 and I realize this is an old post, but notifications are not working on any subscribed user. All my tests get out. I've tried using PHP and SMTP, both settings are correct, but if Feng is supposed to be sending out notifications to subscribed users when a document or other tracked object gets updated, or a comment is made, it's not working on my installation.

Is this project active anymore?
