no email with > 1 attachment

At any time I am trying to add a 2nd attachment to an email (using FO 1.7 onsite) the computer is hanging up; sometimes the server requires a reboot. Some ideas what's going wrong?

We haven't been able to reproduce this. Server config? Any other hint?

I have no idea what has been happened a few days ago ???
