: ical export import to Google
: kpimichael March 07, 2011, 04:10:54 PM
I want to see my Feng Calendar on my iphone.   I read everything on here i could find about ical...  but I seem be missing something.

I turned on the ability to export an ical calendar in administrative settings.
Clicked on ALL workspaces and then Calendar.
I see all kinds of appointments inside Feng
So i click on the little icon to get the ical feed.
Copy that to google in setting up a calendar by URL.
I save it and google accepts it
EXCEPT
I find just a few appointments and i see no pattern as to why only a few show up and others don't.

What am i missing?    THanks

Only events get imported. Tasks and milestones will not.
By the way, are you using the latest version available of Feng Office?

Best regards,
Francisco

I came here as I have the same problem and am looking for a solution.  As far as I can see, none of my events are imported.  In fact, I get an error message:

Failed to add imported calendar at http://office.xxxxxx.org/index.php?c=feed&a=ical_export&n=mmmm%20bbbbbbb&cal=0&t=f67f140d5cea010b627a9b4e9eb867f7d463ed5f&isw=1 for mmmmbbbbbb@gmail.com

This same URL functions just fine importing into Thunderbird/Lightening.

saving the file and importing it into google calendar also works.  Must be something about the URL(?).

I've also done the robots.txt modification.  Here's my file:

User-agent: Googlebot
Allow: /*.php?c=feed&a=ical_export$

User-agent: *
Disallow: /
