Getting Started / Where to add companies?

I have a fresh install of Feng on my own dedicated server. I do not see an option anywhere for adding companies. I read the docs and was directed to use the "See More" menu on the left to add a company. I don't see that as an option.
Secondly, I've been looking for a simple option for managing tasks for our clients...is this it? I tried Pier Project and was not impressed. I hated that I couldn't use a single account for adding tasks for all companies.
