Cannot assign a task to a group
« on: June 21, 2009, 06:57:26 am »
Hello all,

this is my first day on OpenGoo .. seems excellent, but I miss some points ..

I created some users, then formed a group out of them,

I loged-in with 1 user (not admin) and created a task.
I managed to add the users to be subscribed.
But I cannot ASSIGN the task to their group.

The assign list always displays the users (not the group) and I cannot assign multiple users to a single task.

What's the problem? Some missing permission?

Please help,

Thanks in advance,

Tarek

Hi Tarek,

nice question. I think the meaning of groups in the administration is a little different. According to my understanding you can only group users to use the system permissions - nothing more.

So functionaly we are missing a goup function on user level, to use groups for erver thing: contacts, to assign task, notes, events, etc...

Let's here, what the developer team say's to you questions...

Very nice question...
