Upgraded to 2.2.1 and now all milestones are gone

I upgraded from 2.2 to 2.2.1 and now all of my existing milestones are gone.  I also can't seem to create new ones.  Wondering if this is an error, or an intentional change.

DOH!  found the answer in the general settings.

By default the milestones are disabled in 2.2.1. you need to go to Administration > Configuration > General and enable Milestones.
