Hi. Was this problem resolved on latest versions?

77
Hi Chris,

We are looking into this with the team. We'll PM you with ideas.

Thanks!

Yes, there is a new -official- plug in now.

The latest version (see the blog for a comprehensive description) adds a great deal of improvements and pretty much all the features of the previous plugins.

Oh no!

Where are you nowadays, Pet?

I should know so that I decide whether I FedEX or buy you the beer in person.

Getting Started / Re: Task start-time
« on: July 11, 2013, 06:04:52 pm »
Hi.

Yes, this is possible on the Professional Edition.

1. Go to:
Administration > Configuration > General

2. Check 'yes' on:
Use time in task dates
(Allow people to input due time and start time with due date and start date)

The tasks will now be displayed in the daily and weekly calendar views at their corresponding times.

Thank you, Akram.

Great feedback!

My response = What Francisco said + these are all now part of the roadmap.

Some things will vary in the order and time-frame at which they will be developed. But our vision is that there should be a system (and Feng Office has to be that system), where all these features are integrated.

Please, keep in touch and sharing your ideas.

And, as Francisco said, any contributors (either of code or financial resources) are always welcome.

Remember that, if you don't think you need our support or the Professional Edition features, signing up is still a way to contribute. We don't accept "donations", but we accept subscriptions of all sorts.

And we do take on customization works too.

;)

All discussion points noted.

All great feedback. Thanks!

In fact, we have discussed deeper integration with other services.

@Gepd, great comments.

@melvinOFucw, you make very good observations. I would have said it very similarly.

@fengy, we love constructive criticism.

Just so everyone reading here knows, WISIWYG is a configurable option (I don't remember where to set it, and don't feel like searching right now... lots of work!)

Comments and Notifications are working well and people love them. With time (after the whole team is in Feng Office), people start to get a bit too many. That is why we have added settings to lower the amount of e-mail. Plus, we have plans to improve this even more.

Folders are now an option in the Professional Edition.

Mobile support: we are doing quite well with the HTML5. It is currently available for the Professional Edition only, but we have plans to enable it for the Community Edition in the future. We are also working with partners to develop native apps.

Any additional comments and ideas will be much welcome.

[Note: @fengy, I removed a gratuitous reference to another system on your original comment. Everything else I left as it was. We respect and value our competitors. We admire almost all of them. But we have a policy not to make references to them on our forum -neither good or bad-, unless it is absolutely necessary. I hope you understand.]
