Issue with Upgrade
« on: August 06, 2009, 03:18:33 am »
Hi All,

I have installed OpenGoo (OpenGoo 1.1 RC1) couple of months back and in the admin panel when i click on "Upgrade" link it always displays an message as "There are no new versions of OpenGoo available for download", however when i see from OpenGoo home page the latest version is 1.5.1

Am i missing some thing? Do i need to upgrade my current installation in a different way?

Please let me know, appreciate ur help.

Thanks
Kalyan

Sir you have to try a little harder. The designers have provided help for users in the form of text files which accompany the installation. You must follow these precisely to avoid any problems. Installations are straight forward but you must take notice of the information provided.

Do a manual upgrade (download the 1.5.1 upgrade, backup your db, copy to your web server, run the upgrade script).
