email question
« on: February 12, 2009, 10:28:10 pm »
First off very impressive software. Thank you.

Hoping to find out if this possible.

I have 4 users on the system - each user has a separate email address.
user@domain
usr2@domain etc....

We also use a "company" email address
info@domain

Is it possible to have the info@domain address accessible to all 4 users without adding this address to all 4 user accts. Seems like a lot of redundant data that way.

I've tried setting up a dummy user with the info@ address and giving the other users permissions to the dummy  and nothing shows up if I'm user1 etc.

If I'm logged in as the dummy user I can see emails but not when logged in as a user.

Thanks for any insight.

Hi,

I can't think of any way of doing that for the moment. When you assign an email to a workspace, all users with permissions to read email in that workspace will be able to read that email, so if all email received by that account could be automatically assigned to a workspace your problem would be solved. This is one reason why we need email rules in OpenGoo. :)
