How To's / Delete all but most recent revision
« on: June 01, 2010, 02:09:48 pm »
Is there a way to delete all revisions except for the current revision of a file?

I currently have a staff meeting document that all staff insert their updates into the document. In the end we have roughly 30 revisions because when each person saves it creates a new revision. After the staff meeting I like to clean house and remove all the old revisions and keep only the most recent one. Is there a way to do this? If not maybe there is someone out that would be interested in developing or helping develop this idea.

Thanks,

B.

How To's / Are tags universal?
« on: May 12, 2010, 11:27:20 am »
This morning when I was using Feng Office I noticed a bunch of new tags in the tag list that I didn't create. After some investigation I found out that a user created these tags within his personal workspace. I can see these tags, I cannot see the items that are tagged with these tags but I can see these tags in the list. Is this how it is supposed to work? Seems useless for me to see these tags when they are not tags I have created nor do I own items tagged with them.

How To's / Re: Securing Feng Office

Someone must have some general guidelines to securing Feng Office files.

I have a feeling I should be locking down my config file.

Anyone?

Development / Spreadsheet Development

With the PHPExcel class set could you potentially develop a plugin for Feng Office that would add the ability to read/write to excel files right in Feng Office?

If so I would certainly be interested in looking into this project. It doesn't seem like it would be too hard if the class set already defines the functions for reading/writing to a spreadsheet.

How To's / Securing Feng Office
« on: May 03, 2010, 09:32:46 am »
Hello folks, I have a question regarding security of Feng Office. I have recently upgraded to 1.6.2 from 1.6.1 and in the process I had to change file system permissions so the upgrade could be completed properly. I am curious as to how I can be sure my Feng Office deployment is secure.

Any information is helpful. Thanks a lot.
