Server Error 500 adding a workspace

Hi there,
I've tried numerous different installs of Feng Office both from downloads from sourceforge, from fengoffice, and from installatron but have not yet managed to get all functionality to work. In the latest install, 2.6 (installed via Installatron), when I try to add a workspace i get server error 500. In the previous version I can add workspaces but any attempts to upload documents or create html documents gives server error 500.

Are you able to assist please, as this is about my 10th install and I would really like to trial this product.

Did I ask the wrong question? In any case, comindwork seems like a viable alternative and at $3 per month for up to 10 users is a significantly cheaper option than hosted fengoffice. Thanks anyways, best of luck with it.

Most definately a server issue.  Look at your server logs to find out what the problem is.  The product works well, but you will require knowledge of some medium level server configuration experience to really get it running as you wish.

You can post your server logs here and we can help to troubleshoot, but without this information, it's impossible to tell what part of your server is misconfigured (it's most likely not your software installation, but your server configuration)

This is an old topic, but I did not want to leave it without answering.
As Steve mentioned, that definitely is an error in the server configuration, which can be found in the Apache error logs.

Concerning the other solution you mention, well, we offer different things with more features and modules, and even a free edition with the source code along.
