: weblinks page doesn't display

i have just installed 1.3.rc & am using opengoo for the first time; when i click on the "web links" tab, for a few seconds i see the tool bars, then they disappear & there is just a grey window.

i used the new button at top right to add a couple of web links, but these don't appear.
