Can't write Mails in HTML
« on: December 17, 2010, 07:46:30 am »
Since Update of version 1.7.3.1 I can't write Mails in HTML-format, because I can't access the mailbody-container.

Firefox does not give any errormessage, IE says (in german):

You need to delete the browser's cache. You may do this manually or by pressing CTRL+F5

Francisco

Have you tried with different browsers and computers? Have you deleted the browsers cache successfully? This has already been reported before and got fixed by doing this.

Anyway, have you checked your log for errors?

Best regards,
Francisco

Hello Francisco,

the problem is solved. The cause was a not fully translated language file. After I had taken the German language file in version 13, it works fine.

But thank you for your help.

I used the german file in version 11 before. Maybe you have to try this to reproduce the problem. I had it on two installations with three tested browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome), deleting the caches.

I see, possibly that is the reason then.
Either way, we are looking forward to updating the German language to the number 13 in a future release!

Best regards,
Francisco

We have same problem  of not being able to write html emails after upgrade from 1.7 -> 1. 7.3.1 - not able to access email body container.

Clearing cache doens't work and we're using English language.

 ???

That indeed is odd.. Have you made sure you have updated your installation successfully? have you tried using a different browser/computer? Are there any traces in the log file?

Best regards,
Francisco
