How To's / Document uploads issues
« on: September 04, 2011, 01:07:52 pm »
My FengOffice is running on Windows Server 2008.
No major probs, except:

I cannot upload documents of  a decent size.

PDFs of 180 k -> ok
PDFs of 2 M -> loads 100%, but then tells me that there was an error and the admin has been informed (not true)
PDFs bigger than that: it uploads up to 24%, starts again at 0% again and again.

My PHP settings:

upload_max_filesize:50M (fengOffice shows that value on the upload page)
max_execution_time: 800
post_max_size: 50M
memory_limit:128M
(all sizes are taken from phpInfo)

Any idea why that is?

How To's / SMTP - does not read all - date and time issue?
« on: August 28, 2011, 12:26:34 pm »
I have set up feng Office (what a great tool :-) ) to read eMails from my Google account with IMAP.

Initially, there where lots of mails to synchronize (1,300). I never made it that it read more than 200 at a time. When I tried to re-read, it came back with succes, but 0 mails read. After hours it got the next batch. So, it took several days to read those mails.
I increased the PHP values to the recommended. But it still sometimes threw errors.
Now I have to read in the next mailbox. Is there a hint how to do the read-in more efficiently?

A more important question:
I very often do not get the same date and time in GMail and in fengOffice. Some mails have the same date and time, others not. These differences vary from minutes to days.

And - in fengOffice, I also get (minor) diffences in time readings between the mail itself and the time in the listing. Any reason for that?

The mailclient is superb, but what I really would love to see is a search function just for mails and the ability to display the headerdata of a mail.

How To's / Tasks: Other status' than open and completed

Can I mark tasks to have a status like: waiting, put-on-hold or such?

Ideas / Re: Reporting total time spent
« on: August 12, 2011, 10:53:12 am »
Yes, we need to have that "Time spent" not only on a report, but also on the screen in a list or so.

The "Task" tab has nice features as overview. That would be really cool to have such a design in the Time area.

Also: Time is not in the Report tab. So I cannot specify a report an save it

How To's / Archiv workaround
« on: August 07, 2011, 02:49:26 pm »

The first level of my workspaces represent the customers. Under that I have different projects and under that there can be other structures.

My problem: When projects are done, and I archive them, just the top workspace of the archived ones are to be identified in the on the archiv tab.

I quite often want to really look through my previous projects and find tasks or a history.

So what I do, is, I created a workspace "old" and reassign the workspaces I want to get out of the way, to this workspace.

I think it would be helpful, if the archiv would have a similar functionality

How To's / Show presentation on login
« on: August 06, 2011, 07:06:12 am »
I like to give customers simple rights to "his" workspace.

To give him a guidance what they can do, it would be great if a presentation would be presented on the "Overview" tab. Is there any way to do that?

How To's / Re: How to add time to task?
« on: August 06, 2011, 06:34:51 am »
franponce87, thank you very much for your hint. It helped a lot to understand.

A few other questions:

1. Is there a way to see the taks timeslots (and possibly sums) anywhere in the UI as a list rather than to run a report?

2. Time is not in the reporting tab. Can I save time reports somehow?

3. The general timeslot takes the input 1:25h. Any way to use that format in the taks timeslot as well?

4. Is there a way to change the time value in the Time-tab report report from
1 hour 30 minutes -to-> 1:30? Is there a trick to canlculate with the time. I tried it with a csv export, but there again is the x hour, x minutes format.

How To's / Re: How to add time to task?

As there is no reply. Maybe I have not expressed my concerns properly.

I want to use Fengoffice that way:

I create workspace and tasks. Then I work on a task. After that is finished, I like to do the timetrack for that task - or if not possible add time to the workspace.

When I do my timetrack, I would like to see all the tasks of a workspace and see what tasks are already finished and I definitely need to see what time estimations were made and where I stand with the actual time.

Is there any trick how I can work this way?

How To's / Overview
« on: July 30, 2011, 07:14:36 am »
The overview option is quite nice.
But I would like to

- be able to sort the order of the widgets (I want to see my pending open tasks above the activities

- see a time overview

- I would like to assign workspaces or tasks to worker and manager

How To's / How to add time to task?
« on: July 30, 2011, 06:37:27 am »
I tried to add some time to a task.
Then I select a workspace (which has a milestone and a task), I have no entry unter the top headline ("All active tasks").

At present I am not able to attach timetrack to other than workspaces.

And: I do not see my time which is not in a general timeslot in a list, a report or on the dashboard.
