No email notifications

Upgrading to the 2.1 beta we lost all email notifications for, tasks, comments. Test email working fine
Tryed also smtf but no result

I solved by downgrading to 2.0.8

Same problem.

Also 2.0.8 & 2.1 beta Adding/Deleting/Editing accounts and checking emails is impossible and just returns a 500 server error.  

This is far from beta software.

This is still an issue in the RC.

@eorama: Have you reported this on the issue tracker? This works fine on most installations, as far as we know.

What do DB logs say?

The same issue with no notifications email in rc2

uploaded again the old folder application/models/notifier from 2.0.8 and now i have emails

Mail notifications now in rc2 are all empty
no title of the task
no description

No offence intended at all, but I am pretty sure some of those are issues on your side as we have no problems at all with this:
- Dates problem -> cannot reproduce it anymore
- Email notifications -> some things improved but it seems like another issue was introduced in the last release, however, if you send them through PHP and your server has the email module correctly set up, they are sent as we do receive them without any issue at all.. have you checked all of your logs??
- Direct link -> never had an issue with this, probably an issue on your side. Have you checked everything is set up correctly?

i have not tried a new fresh installation but the after upgrade i can cofirm that

date is OK
email notifications not working
if i downgrade to 2.0.8 emails working but with embty messages

I tried a new installation on the same server using the latest build of fengoffice rc2
no notifications for task / comments /due tasks

i get notifications for new user creation

I had the same Problem. Try to add a Logo to the company.
The solved the Problem for me.

I can confirm that i have notifications after adding a logo
Now i have notifications in Tasks, and comments but no notification from the quick add
