It's working now. I wound up reinstalling all of the files but retained the database information.

So, if this ever happens to you, you'll know what to do.  I don't know if there is a shortcut but that's what I wound up doing.

How do you turn on error logging so that errors are outputted on the screen?

No, config.php is just the database config and that didn't change.

I tried adding the paths in the settings of environment/environment.php but that didn't work.

Any other ideas?

I guess I'll have to reinstall it but there should be another way.

How To's / Re: Help! Location?
« on: March 02, 2010, 12:28:46 pm »
I have a thought.  I might need to change the "location" of the URL in the script.

Where would I find that config so that I can point it to the correct new setting?

I don't know.  They apparently changed the server to make it "faster".

I wasn't able to access my files while they made the transition from the old server to the new one.

After the transition, some scripts were no longer working and had to be modified.

One of the scripts that isn't working is Opengoo.  However, I don't know how to modify it since the config deals with the database and that information seems to be the same.

Not sure what else could cause the blank white screen when I try to access it.

How To's / Help! It's not working now ... [SOLVED]
« on: March 01, 2010, 11:16:49 pm »
I had Opengoo (older version) working beautifully.

Then my host changed the server and ruined the script.  Now when I log on, I get a blank white screen.

Does this mean that I have to reinstall the whole thing?

The database configuration appears to still be correct - same host, etc.

I hope that I don't have to reinstall it.  Any ideas?   ???

UPDATE:  I reinstalled the files and restored it.  It's working with the database and my changes intact.

How To's / Is there an email notification log or sent box?
« on: November 20, 2009, 12:27:22 am »
When the system sends an email to a new user about their login information, is there a log or sent box as a record?

If so, where is it?

 ???

How To's / Re: POP email error?
« on: November 19, 2009, 02:31:29 pm »
I'm still having the same problem and it's with both the gmail account and my regular POP email account.  (I have Gmail set up as POP.)

I tried the suggestions on here but they didn't work.

My error log looks similar to the one posted by andyinGB.

I suspect that it has something to do with the server's capabilities or lack thereof.  Not sure what settings need to be altered to make it work.

Older versions / Re: [1.5.3] Gmail not Working
« on: November 13, 2009, 03:23:04 pm »
I'm having the same problem.  However, I haven't accessed any logs so I don't know the details of the error yet.

However, at first when I tried to send an email, I got a message that SSL was not allowed on my server.

So, I logged onto my host and edited the PHP .ini file to enable "openssl".  Not sure if that was correct.

But when I tried to send a message, I didn't get that error message anymore.  Now I'm getting the same error message as you.

So, you might want to see if your host is enabling SSL, which Gmail requires.

Then take it from there.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm going to change the forwarding email to a Gmail account and try plugging that in and see how it goes.

If I have trouble with that account as well, I'll try your suggestion and will post an update.

How To's / POP email error?
« on: November 13, 2009, 12:32:46 am »
I have my domain name forwarded to a POP email account.   Now I'm trying to set up my email account on OpenGoo.

I plugged in incoming and Outgoing settings - everything is correct.  But when I click on "Check emails", I get:

Error: Email retrieval complete: 0 emails received.Error checking account 'email account': Generic login error

When I try to send an email, I get:
Error: Error while sending mail. Possibly wrong SMTP settings.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?  ???

Getting Started / Re: How to use workspaces - moving files?
« on: November 10, 2009, 07:04:36 pm »
Newbie question - can you drag projects from one workspace to another?

If you have a project in the Pending workspace and it has been completed, can you easily drag it to to a Completed workspace or should you just rename the workspace?

I guess dragging projects wouldn't work if there are multiple files (calendar, links, etc.).   ???
