Installation problems / Upgraded from 1.6.2 to 1.7.3.1 [small propblem]
« on: December 02, 2010, 06:18:15 pm »
Hi All

I moved the installation from a in-house server to a server with a fixed ip adress.
made backup of sql file for 1.6.2. then i installed old version 1.6.2 on new server (with different database name, db username, and passwords). ok. then import sql.
Perfect!

next deleted feng office folder on new server and copy 1.7.3.1. contents in (leaving out public and config file - like update notes said).

went through update with new credentials - that went fine and finished. last line however said table og_phpadministration_tools already exists. (but it did say instalation / upgrade complete)

problem:

When I open fixed ip address on pc that is inhouse, feng office loads and does not draw the calendar or anything else (just says loading - but never finishes)

When i load from other pc outside office - that never had access to the original calendar, IT WORKS!

tried deleting, cache of browsers. uninstall - reinstall browsers. stopped apache. disconnected old server.

Any Solutions?

ok, looks like i sorted it out.. there was a pc that's time was 2 weeks ahead.. and someone (me  ;D) made an appointment on it.

so - what happened - everybody's times (appointments) went weird (time and date wise).

Solution:
1. set time right.
2. problem fixed (dont know how this happened).

shot for reply..

Hi everyone,

I have a major problem. We have been making appointments on feng office calendar and an hour ago - all appointments are on the wrong time slots and wrong days..

This is a office stopping problem.

Using:
- feng office 1.6.2.
- Ubuntu Linux Server: 9.10 (time is correct)
- Firefox 3 and above
- Some use Chrome web browser.

Why? -help    (or i will get fired  ??? lol)
