1.4 final / 1.4.2 Database Error on Task View
« on: June 28, 2009, 12:35:22 am »
Tasks View is broken.

Somehow with the various filters in tasks view, I've made opengoo call a bad sql query.

It shows a DB error dump, no widgets, dropdowns or any damn filters so I can fix the thing!

The bigger issue here is not the SQL, but the fact that all my controls for tasks disappeared. If they were showing at least I could fix the content of the view.

How To's / Billing - How does this feature work?
« on: June 04, 2009, 01:54:48 am »
I couldn't find anything on google about how billing works. I created a billing category but this does northing as far as I can tell. I assume billing ties in with tasks, milestones. Does owner company bill cients, do clients bill the owner? I would like it both ways actually. The whole thing is just a big WTF for me.

This isn't very intuitive like the rest of opengoo.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Installation problems / Server Migration Problems, Blank Screen
« on: April 07, 2009, 04:30:21 am »
I've just moved the files and database of my opengoo install to another server (ubuntu vps). All I get is a white screen when I load up opengoo. I've conntect the database correctly though the config.php file, the homepage no longer has an error message, just nothing at all.
Any Ideas?

Firstly, I think OpenGoo is a great piece of software, the developers have done a great job!

There is just one thing I can't figure out how to do; have two or more companies working on a single workspace.

I can give a client company access to a workspace, and they can assign tasks to users of the owner company. I want to go a step further and be able to assign tasks to users of this other company.

The scenario is a joint venture. Two companies are working on the same project and I want to be able to assign tasks to the other company and have my other work spaces hidden.

The whole client/owner relationship really doesn't work here. The only way to be able to assign tasks to other companies (afaik) is to add the users from the other companies into one super company. Since this would allow them access to my other workspaces I'm forced to install a new instance of OpenGoo.

Is there a way to achieve this or should I just put in a feature request?
