Feng tags and Gmail tags

When we download an email from Gmail that has tags will those tags be downloaded and become Feng tags

I can't imagine that they would.  It's not like when you forward an email from gmail the tags go with it.  I would guess that the tags stay with gmail.

that makes sense , however when I use Zimbra desktop email client it also downloads the tags, helps in organziation
