Hallo Karl,

die Diskussion ist sinnvoll. Allen werden wir es nicht recht machen können. Da wir beide in den letzten Tagen die meiste Zeit in die vorliegende Übersetzung investiert haben, wissen wir worüber wir reden.

Einige Begriffe werden sich in Deutsch immer etwas umständlich anhören. Mein Lieblingsbeispiel ist das Wort tag - im Deutschen kommt Schlagwort der Sache sicherlich am nächsten, aber es hört sich schon komisch an. Ein solches Wort würde ich nicht übersetzen. Weitere Beispiele seien "check out", "check in"

Teilweise werden ganze Sätze aus einzelnen Phrasen zusammengesetzt. Damit gibt es einen erzwungene Reihenfolge und darauf muss die deutsche Übersetzung passen. Beispiel dafür ist ein Kalendereintrag mit der Wahl "Jährlich am..." - dann wird ein Zusatztext angezeigt, der aus solche mehreren Phrasen besteht...

Dann gibt es seitens der OpenGoo Entwickler keine klare Struktur in welcher Datei welche Begriffe definiert sind. Gerade bei site_interface.php, projekt_interface.php und lang.js geht das munter durcheinander. Teilweise kann ich aus dem Namen der Variablen nicht zurück schließen für was dieser Begriff steht. Das sehe ich erst aus dem Kontext der Übersetzung.
Es haben eben mehrere Entwickler parallel an OpenGoo gearbeitet und man darf nicht vergessen, das projectPier die Basis, d.h. man wird möglichst viel von projectPier übernommen haben...

Letztlich ist es aber wichtig, dass wir seitens der OpenGoo Entwickler die Übersetzung validiert bekommen, damit sie dann die Basis für die weiteren Versionen darstellt...

Hi ignacio,

thanks for your feedback. In 12.beta2 the error 405 is fixed.

Our provider will not change to Apache 2.0+. So it is our part for testing OpenGoo under Apache 1.3

When you will change the login window you must change the files "ligin.php" and "forgot_password" in appication/views/access

We are testing with an own stylesheet for a new login window, but in the moment we moved back to the defaults scripts, because we have some problems with the error message when I use a wrong username or password.

So it is a good idea, when the devolopers can show us to put an background grafic or an logo on the login window.

Wichtig für alle die ein Update zur 1.2Beta2 machen wollen.

Zuerst die Sprache auf en_us einstellen. Dann das Update wie im Readme.txt beschrieben durchführen.

Dann alle Dateien im Ordner language/de_de löschen und dann die aktuelle Übersetzung aus dem Posting von Karl installieren.

1.2Beta2 wird seitens der Entwickler mit einer DE-Übersetzung ausgeliefert, die leider fehlerhaft ist.

Wahrscheinlich werden mit dem Erscheinen von weiteren Versionen der 1.2 noch Ergänzungen an der DE-Übersetzung zu machen sein, da die Entwickler noch weitere Funktionen implementieren.

Diese Anpassungen werden wir dann schnell nach ziehen und es wird wieder ein offizielles Posting der fertigen DE-Übersetzung von Karl geben.

Parallel ist die jetzige DE-Übersetzung zur Validierung bei den Entwicklern eingereicht worden.

Es ist auch richtig, dass die DE-Übersetzung abwärts kompatibel ist. Dies kann aber jeder selbst prüfen, indem seine opengoo link mit dem zusatz /pubic/tools aufruft. Dort kann die Übersetzung mit dem Tool "check_lang" geprüft werden.

Now I see in the calendar in the day view the following:

How To's / Best place for own customizing

Where in OpenGoo is the best place for own customizing and developments?

Example: So we have changed the login window with a new style and theme by changing the file appilcation\views\access\login.php
For that we have to store a folder with the theme and grafics info OpenGoo.

We would like to place a folder "custom" on top level for this.

Hallo Karl,

das hört sich gut an.

Da ich die eigentliche Übersetzung mittlerweile mit dem Tool "Translate OpenGoo" mache ist immer sichergestellt, dass das rcihtige Format geschrieben wird.

Ferner kann man mit dem Tool "Check lang" prüfen, ob die übersetzte Datei einen Fehler hat.

was macht die "messages.php"?

Habe die restlichen Dateien bist auf die "site_interface.php" in den Versionen 1.1 und 1.2beta fertig.

Vielleicht können wir zum Ende der  Woche die DE-Übersetzung fertigstellen.

Gibt es dann seitens der OpenGoo Entwickler eine Prüfung/Freigabe?

Is it possible that opengoo became full support under Apche 1.3?

We have a lot off problems with our provider to change form Apache 1.3 to Apache 2.0.

He told us that there is no reason for php applictions to use Apache 2.0. It have to work with all functions under Apache 1.3

What's the reasons for the OpenGoo developers that OpenGoo must run under Apache 2.0?

Is it possible to enhance the backup process?

We using filesystem as file storage, so for a complete backup we need the following directories and files:
- upload
- public/files
- opengoo software
- db.sql

Is it possible that the backup process only generate the SQL-Export file db.sql

Then we can transfer all directories and files with ftp from the webserver to an locale computer for a complete backup.

Hi,

I am testing the opengoo upgrade of version 1.1 to version 1.2 with an local XAMPP 1.70 installation.

When I using in the version 1.1 my de_de language and make then the upgrade to version 1.2beta (I make the steps form the readme.txt) there is no Login Window for opengoo after it.

When I using in the Version 1.1 en_us language and make then the upgrade to version 1.2beta it works fine.
