I like visual collaboration, so this is another request for Mind Maps.

Please have a look:

Most mind map software (at least what I have used) that is open source is Java based. As OpenGoo is PHP based, this will make many mind map solutions difficult to implement.

Mindjet Catalyst is not something that can be included in OpenGoo. It is a subscription service.

I would recommend something more along the lines of WikkaWiki (http://wikkawiki.org/HomePage) which is written in PHP and uses MySQL for storage.

Greetings;

Long time no post!  OG is great, of course.  Here is an idea that is very similar to a mindmap, but easier, (javascript based) and very powerful.  It's called the JavaScript InfoVis Toolkit.  Check it out here:  http://thejit.org

Take a look at the HyperTree demo, Tree Animation.

This is not exactly a mind map, but it would be a great way to visualize relationships between OpenGoo objects.  How about having one of thise maps open up when you click on a "Links Map" button....

Totally javascript, open source BSD license, it might be an elegant solution...

Cheers!
