Hi all,
Webdav support has been mentioned a few times in the last couple of years and has been "promised" too. Is there any news on webdav integration?
Again, webdav support would be an awesome feature!

I have read in several places that WebDAV is not being developed/supported much anymore?

I don't know about that but AFAIK there is no alternative for it yet, at least not one with such a wide range of clients.

Sorry to be dense. What benefits would it provide?

It would really save my clients/customers a lot of time and be much more user friendly if they could save their documents on a 'local' disk instead of saving it locally and then upload it to Feng Office. Another one is accessing, let's say a calendar from your PDA....

WebDAV development is incomplete due to lack of sponsors.

I might be able to wrangle a few dollars toward this and also toward folders for documents. I don't see folders on the list of functionality up for sponsoring, but folders is my users' number one request, so we might very well contribute some funds to both. I'll see what we can do.

Good news 1: 'folders' -kinda- will be supported in Feng Office 2.0.
Bad news 1: Marcos is away on vacations. Traveling Europe in disguise for the next three weeks.
Bad news 2: A 'few dollars' won't work anymore. We have instituted a new rule for the team: everyone has to wear clothes and bath every week. This has put enormous financial pressure on several teammates. They are now actually claiming a salary! ;D

We are now trying not to publish development pricing on forums, as mistakes stay published, and we have a hard time explaining these prices. Thanks! And hope you didn't mind my joking. ;)
