hey there,

just wanted to add a birthday to my calendar, then i saw that there is only one icon for events.

would it be possible to add some?

-maybe a cake for birthays
- or just some colored dots the user then can use to categorize his events
- or the feature that a user can upload some own icons

Hi,

I really liked the idea of letting the user to choose an icon. It should be allowed for all types of objects, not only events. Maybe depending on the type is what icons you are allowed to select, so that you wouldn't be able to give a document the icon for contacts, since this would create confusion. I'll put it as a feature request, but you can keep developing the idea on this thread if you want. Like, which icons would you like to see?

Events, companies and milestones... and comments, which is sort of a content object.

The technical name we use to describe them is Content Objects. We sometimes refer to them simply as objects or COs.

should also make it where you can upload your own icons, simple gif or png format files. Maybe just adding them to an "icons" folder via FTP and OpenGoo recognizes them?
