Feature requests / Re: Is Feng Office going anywhere?
« on: February 08, 2010, 12:00:11 pm »
Hi Pet,
I agree with you but maybe the focus is now to get what's already done "production grade".
To me Fengoffice always seemed "almost there" and maybe (I'm no developer but the name change looks like marketing to me) the focus has moved to make the whole system more stable (bugfixes) and profitable.
I can se your list of features is quite big and challenging, maybe something less scary would do.
To be honest, I never thought that the focus on web mail client would pay since everyone already has his own favourite web-mail client or standard client.
Maybe going where things are missing  would be a better option.
Online readers? Integrated creation of FlashPaper docs? An integrated search engine to search inside docs contents ?
As you can see I'm more focused on docs since the email is already there, while a good doc management isn't.
Just my two cents...

Installation problems / UPGRADE doesn't work at all.
« on: September 18, 2009, 12:08:18 pm »
Hi all,
when I try to use the upgrade function in the administrator panel I get the message:
"Success" Failed to check for a new version.
Apart from the fact that a success and a failure in the same sentence looks quite stupid to me, Why isn't this working AT ALL?
I get no PHP errore messages and the site is up and working.
The setup is the usual LAMP.
Thanks for your help

« on: June 10, 2009, 08:14:14 am »
Hello al,
every time I try an automatic update from 1.3.1 I get a "communication error" .
Turning debug on doesn't help.
My PHP install has curl enabled but no sockets support.
Platform is Linux and no  firewall blocking comunication to the outside world.
any clue?

Thanks in advance

1.3 final / Re: Problem wih pdf files and firefox (and safari too)
« on: March 26, 2009, 08:05:26 am »
Thanks for your kind answer Ignacio,
the person who made the upload has such plugin installed.
The funny thing is that is if I make the upload from a browser that has no such plugin installed everything is fine, but if the upload is performed by someone with that plugin installed I can see the "edit" actions for the pdf files, and this is not right.
Now since the problem seems plugin-related I'll try to focus on it.
Thanks for your tip.

Ideas / Re: Uploading multiple documents
« on: March 25, 2009, 11:44:56 am »
Hi there,
and if I may add "Multple attachments " to a single "document" would be nice.

Thank you for your kind attention and your great software.

1.3 final / Problem wih pdf files and firefox (and safari too)
« on: March 24, 2009, 03:44:37 pm »
Hello there,
first of all, I would like to thank all the developers that are working on Opengoo, I really like it and we are testing it so that it may become our main intranet system.
The interface is very nice and the "link everything to anything" is just brilliant.

Now, I have this strange problem: if I upload a .pdf file and then click on it I don't get the download dialog window, but the files is read just in its source form inside the window.
I tried with ie7 on windows Xp and everythings works just fine.
With Firefox on Windows Xp and Mac OS X I have the above mentioned problem.
I checked the forum but I could find no clues about my problem.
Thanks in advance for your attention.

Ciao  a tutti,
ho tradotto email.php. Il file dovrebbe essere un TXT in UTF-8.

A presto
