How To's / Error 403: Forbiddenupdating a profile

Hi,
I have 1.5.3 version installed, and the problem I have is that when upgrading any user (password, time zone, etc ...) I get this error.
Searching in the forum, one saw the same thing had happened and that was the mod_security. I contacted the hosting and they swich off it (or so they say).
If the mod security is disabled, what else could it be?
As I make sure that is disabled?

Español / Error 403: Forbidden al modificar un usuario

Hola,
Tengo insalada la versión 1.5.3, y el problema que tengo es que al actualizar cualquier usuario (cambio dontraseña, de zona horaria, etc...) me sale este error.
Buscando en el foro, vi que a uno le había pasado lo mismo y que era culpa del mod_security. Me puse en contacto con el hosting y me lo desactivaron (o eso dicen).
Si el mod security está desactivado, que otra cosa podría ser?
Como me aseguro que está desactivado?
