Feature requests / Daylight savings time

Any Idea when Feng is going to support Daylight Savings Time?
I guess this is pretty import to a lot of poeple, but somehow the topic is not so hot on the forum?
Anyone else waiting for this feature?

Ideas / Reporting total time spent

I don't understand why I can add time estimated in the reporting module, but not the time spent. That would be great to see which tasks are 'over budget'.
Even better would be to highlight the tasks (or the time) which are indeed exceeding the estimated time.

Hi,

is there a way to show the events from feng in Adroid?
it seems the default calendar in Android doesn't show my entries when I use the link from the calendar in Feng. I don't need syncing, just show what I've entered.

Installation problems / mod_security

Oh dear,

My host moved from mod_security to mod_security2 and now my install won't save any data. (error 403:forbidden)
Where can I set this?
(they where talking bout the htaccess, but that seem pretty empty with me )

Installation problems / install 1.7 beta next to running 1.6.2

I would like to copy 1.7-beta next to our current install of 1.6.2 and bypass the install (db is already there...)
is this possible?
is it advisable ? (I will be only one testing it, I just want to take a look without changing data.)

How To's / Speed

Is there a way of speeding up feng office?
We are hosting at a pretty highspeed host only 5 km from our office in Amsterdam (a internet hub for Europe), but still the demo hosted at fengoffice.com (i the States I presume) is faster than ours. using chrome helps alot since it's fast with javascript, but even in firefox the demo is faster.
anything I can do locally?
or is it mainly that the demo is still empty and our system starts to fill up?

Feature requests / exceeded estimated time warning

It would be nice to have some way to see if tasks have exceeded the estimated time worked on. I think the reporting module should be capable of it.

Selected values being estimated time vs spend time, per task or per project. Would be nice to be able to filter out tasks within budget (like it works now in the tasks tab with pending/completed/all etc). Right now there is no way to tell but going into each task and look manually....

or is there some way to accomplish this already?

Older versions / Changing timezone or e-mail address gives weird error

Error:
Query failed with message 'Duplicate entry '2-2' for key 1'

when I try to change the timezone for someone. And I had the same error when trying to change the e-mail of another user. I managed to change that e-mail in the DB directly, but the timezone is more tricky.

Any ideas on this error ?

Getting Started / reporting purposes

Hi there,
 we are using the time module for keeping track of the time spent on workspaces and tasks and this works pretty well.
now I was thinking of using the reporting for a more elaborate time report like time spent, but also time estimated, so i can see if the estimated time is exceeded and so on, but I don't even get a regular time report from the reporting module.
so my questions:
a) is reporting module capable of showing the time spent? (it does show estimated time) so I can compare?
b) what else are people using the reporting module for? perhaps that brings me to some ideas to use the module as well

if this is not possible, is anyone aware of a way to show (for instance per milestone) if the time (or budget) is exceeded ?

Installation problems / start over with uploads

I want to start over with the uploads. some files are duplicated, and all are unnecessary. what would happen if I simply delete the uploads folder contents? I gather it will give me some errors in the app, but is that something I could fix by deleting these in the app as well?

Older versions / date picker not showing on 1.61

somehow my date picker is not working anymore after upgrade to 1.6.1
the app shows a very small square when I click the picker icon just below the datefield's left bottom corner. see attachment.
so it's trying, but not showing.

any ideas?

Older versions / calendar event showing on wrong day

Sometimes an event shows on the wrong date. The event is currently on the 12th at 17:00 but it shows on wednesday the 13th at 17:00. doesn't matter if I drag it to the right place, or go to edit mode and re-save the event. it will show on 13th. if I put the date on the 13th it shows correctly on the 13th (not on the 14th as you might expect)

Any ideas?
