Feng Office 2 / No permission to access when Permission is granted after upgrade.

Hi, we have upgraded 1.7.5 to a 2.2.4.1 which appeared to be sucessful.

However, we now have big problems with access to objects being denied when the objects are in a workspace where the user has full permissions! Here is a real scenario:

Dave is Super Administrator. Has all permissions for all Workspaces.
Sue is Administrator. Has all permissions for most Workspaces including "Projects"
There are no Groups set up.

Dave creates object i.e. a Note in "Projects".
Sue cannot see object.
If Sue goes to direct URL still cannot see Note and Feng display's:
"Information: You don't have permissions to access requested page"
Dave subscribes Sue to the Comment.
Sue still cannot access.
Sue selects the 'Projects" workspace and checks Overview and Notes tabs - the Dave's action and the Note itself  is not visible.
Dave goes to Administration -> Users and looks at Sue's permissions for "Projects". She has all Permsissions already assigned. Dave clicks "Apply the permissions above to all submembers" and then the "Update button".
Sue still cannot see Note.

How To's / deleted notification emailunclassified

I get endless notifications that someone else has deleted an email - these are fresh emails that I haven't been specially subscribed to.
Is there a setting that can stop deleted emails generating these notifications?

The subject line of these emails is:
Missing lang: deleted notification emailunclassified

Currently using 2.2.4.1 but we had the same problem with 7.5.1

Installation problems / Wrong dates show in 'Total task execution time' report

Hi evereyone,

Running Feng 1.7.3.1

The problem is when running the 'Total task execution time' script that comes as standard. The wrong task items show when filtering by dates i.e. tasks with dates that are not in the filtered set appear on the report.

Example:

• filter dates start: 05/April/2009 end: 04/April/2010
• results include many dates after 4/4/10 including 20/04/2010, 25/04/2011, 12/01/2012.

I've attached a screen grab to show this in action!

Any help appreciated, its really causing us problems.

Running 1.6.2

I'm getting "Error:An error occurred while saving the document"  when trying to save or up-load any Documents. Turned on debug and got:

Installation problems / user list display error - can't select to subscribe

After upgrade (I can't remember which) the listing of users displays very strangely (avatars overlap text, text overlaps itself) and we now can't click any text or avator to 'subscribe' or 'invite' people to an object.

Current version stated is 1.5.3.

We've also lost avatars at some upgrade - and now are unable to update a users' avatar getting a 'Failed to Edit Avatar" error.

Here's the debug log we get is after trying to subscribe someone (clicking on their name or image) and then trying to apdate an avatar:

Installation problems / Current version not available in install script 1.7.3.1 -> 1.7.4

I'm upgrading from 1.7.3.1 to 1.7.4

having unpacked 1.7.4 and following the installation instruction:

"5. Go to <your_feng>/public/upgrade in your browser and choose to upgrade from your current version to 1.7"

but my current version 1.7.3.1 iis not listed for me to select. Its defauting to 1.1 and give me drop down option up to 1.6.2

Any suggestions? Is this normal? What cuurent version can I safely select?

Installation problems / Error 403: Forbidden whenever "CC" appears in email text.

Currently running 1.7, but we've had this problem over several version and on serveral diferent server hosts:

PROBLEM
• Can't send or save draft email, results in message "Error 403: Forbidden"
• Can't create task from email,  results in message "Error 403: Forbidden"

WHEN
• When creating in email by "reply to" that includes "CC:" in the copied text (i.e. when the original email that is copied into the new email includes a CC addressee).
• When creating a task frrom an email when the Description field includes "CC:" in the copied email text.

WORK AROUND
For sending email the following seems to be the only work around:

1. Cut the text from the email.
2. Change email format to Plain Text.
3. Paste the text back in.
4. Remove the "CC" or just one "C" from the text.

NB Just changing to plain text OR just removing the CC is not enough on its own.

We love using Feng Office but this is the most annoying and time consuming of problems. Does anyone know where the the problem is located or a fix for iti?

Older versions / Error: can't find variable: rx_TasksDrag

Installation problems / 1.4.2. to 1.5 - Warning: set_time_limit() [function.set-time-limit]:

Whenwe try automatic upgrade from 1.4.2 to 1.5 we get following error. Any ideas?

1.4 final / Error Error while creating database backup: Return code: 127.

I'm trying to use the admininstration / backup. But I get:

and nothing in the tmp folder.

1.4 final / Modules and Tools Missing!

Am running 1.4 but Modules has disappeared from the Admin/Configuration section, and nothing under Admin/Tools at all! So:

Admin: Configuration

General
Mailing
[no modules]
Passwords

Admin: Tools

There are no registered administration tools in the database
[no Test Mailer Settings]
[no Mass Mailer]

Any ideas?

1.3 final / Error 403: Forbidden

We get this error, having created a new html document, pasting in some text and then trying to save it.

We can create a new doc, type some randon text in, and save fine. But as soon as we paste the text in (copied from a web page), we get the "Error 403: Forbidden" on save.

Any thoughts?

We're having trouble uploading files, getting:

this with an mp3 of 2.6MB

this with  a PDF of 1.5MB

Our max file size upload is 10MB though. And we can other smaller files.

1.2.1 / Missing Avatars

Just about to upgrade to 1.2.1 but... every time I've upgraded in the past, we've lost all our user avatars! Its a very laborious task to have to upload them all again.
Is there anything I can do this time to stop them disappearing on upgrade?
