How To's / can we adjust the timeout?
« on: January 21, 2009, 01:56:58 pm »
Had some users have problems with the system timing them out while in the middle of something. Can this be changed in the current or upcoming versions? If not, something to prevent timeouts wiping out work would then be a feature request.  ;D

The subject line says it all. If user A posts a document, how can we prevent user B from deleting it?

I'm using Opengoo as a way for our committees of medical professionals from around the country to be able to collaborate on documents for various purposes, either for educational development or public relations communications.

I'm really thrilled with this application and I am sure with many users using it on our end, I can provide valuable feedback for all of you who are working on this. I do know PHP so I may be able to help in that manner as well, my own responsibilities permitting of course. :)

Feature requests / in-document annotation
« on: December 18, 2008, 03:33:00 pm »
words cannot describe how useful in-document annotation would be with the online editor docs. Something where you can put comments on specific parts of the document, and maybe aggregate them underneath the document too for better reading.

Feng Office 1 / shouldn't edit in a revision go to the document itself?
« on: December 18, 2008, 03:27:54 pm »
I notice in a live document (HTML accessible with the editor), the only way to go to the document is to click "Edit This File" in the action menu. It seems like there should be something in that main revision list that allows you to do this. The only things that happen if I click Edit or the document name is A) Document Revision Comments or B) Document Download (not usually useful for most users if the download is an html file)

Feng Office 1 / Re-assigning parent workspace doesn't do anything
« on: December 18, 2008, 03:23:36 pm »
so if I made two workspaces, A and B, and accidentally set B to have A for a parent, then changed my mind and switched it to "None", B still remains as the child of A.

Feng Office 1 / email not valid with spaces
« on: December 18, 2008, 11:22:57 am »
If there are any trailing spaces in a cut/pasted email address, adding a user will result in an "email address not valid" error.

Feng Office 1 / localhost test: an error occurred
« on: December 10, 2008, 02:18:38 pm »
Beta 1.1 (couldn't find a 1.0 download)

I tried to create and save a document on my localhost (using apache2triad) test, and I get "an error occurred while saving the document". I get a similiar error when trying to upload a document as well.
