Installation problems / Re: installation on Windows IIS - login loop
« on: June 22, 2009, 03:52:59 am »
Now I've tried installing on two different servers using IIS and Windows 2000 Server - both of them have the same problem.  PHP, MySQL, IIS all seem to be running just fine, but I cannot log in to OpenGoo.

Using version 1.4.1  - it appears to authenticate, then dump me back into the login screen.

Anyone?

I've tried that too, several times/versions.  I have it running on my Macintosh, but still haven't figured it out on Windows 2000.

Thank you, yes I did clear the cache on the browsers and computers as well as getting rid of the cookies.  Nothing works.

I am not getting any debug information on this error - no log and nothing on the screen. I thought it is could be a permissions problem on a subsequent file, but even opening everything up doesn't solve it.

It is as if my "login credentials" aren't getting passed to the next pages.  I am authenticating, but it isn't getting passed along.  This occurred on each version I've tried to install.   1.0, 1.1, etc.

Installation problems / installation on Windows IIS - login loop
« on: May 15, 2009, 11:10:26 pm »
I've installed and reinstalled the application successfully, but each time I go to log in, the login page just keeps coming up. If I pu in a bad password, I get an error with the login.

I've tried logging in with several browsers, and different computers, as well as on the server to no avail.  I've found a few threads about this and others seem to have had some luck by eliminating the cookie path in config\config.php, but it doesn't work for me.

EDIT: I am using version 1.3.1

Any assistance will be appreciated!

1.3-rc / Re: I can not login any more
« on: May 15, 2009, 10:22:46 pm »
I've installed 1.0, 1.3_rc, and 1.3_rc2, and all of them have the same login problem described here. I keep getting the login screen - no errors, just goes nowhere.

Is it possibly the web configuration in IIS?

Any help greatly appreciated!
John
