Dear all,

the new beta looks pretty nice, especially the new read/unread for all objects. But is possible to make also the Workspace name which inherits the unread object bold face to see directly in which workspace new objects exists?

Best regards

Hi,

i have a big problem with the setting of grou permissions.
Whenever I want so set the workspace permission of a group account i encounter the following error:

Fatal error: Argument 1 passed to ProjectUsers::clearByUser() must be an instance of User, called in /srv/opengoo/application/controllers/GroupController.class.php on line 203 and defined in /srv/opengoo/application/models/project_users/ProjectUsers.class.php on line 153

what do i have to do to get rid of this message and to successfully set the permissions of the group account.

Feature requests / Re: Workspace specific mail-accounts

Hi Cabeza,

if I rethink my idea and take a look on the other request regarding the e-mail system, maybe something like automatic mail filtering would be the right choice.

Lets think of the possibility to have mail filter rules, so that mails with a specific mail adress or mails with a specific string in the subject line will get automatically classified .
This would work for both IMAP and POP3.

If you think further of not only filter for subjects and senders but also for, in the case of IMAP, the foldername the email was downloaded from (as opengoo knows these folders) it would be possibly to classify by folder name.

So this scenario would work for IMAP and POP3, would satisfy most of the user complaining about mail filtering and also me, because i would be able to classify by IMAP folder names.

Older versions / [1.5.3] bug in "Print view" of custom reports
« on: September 08, 2009, 03:31:38 pm »
Hi there,

i have found a bug in the print view of custom reports (object type Task).

The bug only occurs if you are using parametrized conditions.

In my case I am using the workspace and also the "Completed on" field as a parametrized condition.

When i now generate a report and hit the "print view" button I get the following error

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /srv/opengoo/application/models/reports/Reports.class.php on line 147

depending on what condition is parametrized the error gives line 147 or 189.

When i set the conditions fixed and not parametrized printing works.

Please help because i definetly need the parametrization.

Best regards

Hi Cabeza,

when I am adding a new mail account in opengoo and click "fetch IMAP folders" i get a list of all folders in my IMAP user account.

What i would like to have is the possibility to have a drop down box right next to the IMAP folder name where I can select a workspace for every IMAP folder (the "All" workspace could be selected by default).

So during the "check mail" action the e-mails would get downloaded, automatically classified and moved to the corresponding workspace.

This would make daily work way much easier.

Greetings

Stefan

Feature requests / Workspace specific mail-accounts
« on: July 14, 2009, 01:12:22 pm »
Hi there,

we are currently trying Opengoo 1.5 beta3.

What we are missing is the functionality to have workspace specific mail accounts.

In some detail: We are using an IMAP server as our primary mail server and each user has built up mostly the same IMAP folder structure over the last years

->INBOX
      ->Projects
           ->Project1
           ->Project2
           ->Project3
->SENT
->TRASH

because of several things we want to keep the mail sorting and ordering on the IMAP server.

On the OpenGoo side we are working with the following workspace tree

->All
    ->Projects
          ->Project1
               ->Mail, Notes, Tasks, Documents
          ->Project2
               ->Mail, Notes, Tasks, Documents
          ->Project3
               ->Mail, Notes, Tasks, Documents

Now the mail accounts created in OpenGoo seems not to be workspace specific, meaning all mails will be at first state saved in the "All" workspace and need to be moved to the specific workspace by hand.

Idea1:
What we would really like to see is the possibiliy to have the option to select the specific workspace for each IMAP folder. So that every downloaded mail from the specific IMAP folder will be automatically saved in the corresponing workspace.

Idea2:
One could think of making the mail accounts workspace specific, meaning in the example we would create an mail account in workspace "Project1" and configure this account to download the mails of the IMAP folder "Project1". Sure one would have to configure one mail accounts in OpenGoo for every IMAP folder.

Despite of the Ideas above it would be great to have the option that sent mails out of OpenGoo would be copied to the SENT folder on the IMAP server linked to the specific mail account of the workspace they were written in.

We would definately like to see such a features in the upcoming OpenGoo Versions.

Best wishes

Stefan

Feature requests / Re: Assign Tasks to More than one work group

Hi Ignacia,

what is the progress in incorporating this feature request into opengoo, because we also definetly need tasks to occur in different workspaces.

1.4 final / V1.4.1(2) Boolean custom properties in tasks
« on: June 23, 2009, 05:10:49 am »
Hi there,

I think I've found a bug ;-)
It also shows up in the Demo that can be started from www.opengoo.org so its not a problem with my installation only.

Description:
- I have generated a boolean custom property for tasks, set "checked?" to false and "visible by default" to true
- Then I have created a task and set the custom property to true and hit "add task".
- In the detailed view of the task there is now a checkmark next to the custom property
- After that I have edited the task again and changed the state of the custom property to FALSE and hit "save changes".
- But the state of the boolean custom property will not change to false, it stays true.

Feature requests / Custom reports (Tasks) feature request
« on: June 17, 2009, 06:54:21 am »
Hi together,

we are using the custom reporting feature to get a report about the current tasks assigned to a specific user.
What we are missing is the possibility to select a condition "Completed" because now all task, completed and pending, are displayed in the report.
And we would like to see only the pending tasks in the report.

Best regards

1.4 final / 1.4.1 Custom Reports (Tasks)
« on: June 17, 2009, 06:05:13 am »
Hi there,

I think I've found a bug in the custom reporting feature.
What I have done:
- generate custom report for object type task
- select condition: assigned to user XXX
- select condition: completed on > XXX as parameter

report generation works, the found tasks are displayed on the screen, but "print view" gives a blank page. If i remove the parameter checkmark at the completed on and set a date directly the "print view" button works.

Feature requests / Re: local file links
« on: April 23, 2009, 06:48:21 pm »
Hi,

ok, the example with the .txt file was maybe not the best way to explain what i would reallly like to have.

So lets say one of my projects is producing huge files of several hundred megabytes each. Instead of uploading these files to my opengoo server or into the sql database, they should reside on our data server (running Samba). Therefore I need the possibility to link to these files in opengoo. I hope this will explain a little bit better my intention for this feature request.

Feature requests / local file links
« on: April 23, 2009, 04:11:51 pm »
Hi folks,

first let me say thank you for this great software.

With the 1.4 beta you have introduced the possibility to add "Weblinks" in the Upload file dialogue. It would be a great feature to extend this and to add a radio button to link to local files on the users computer.
It would be the same thing as with the "Weblinks" but with an "file://" prefix.
Furthermore it would be great if you would replace all backslashes (yes I am a windows user ,-)) in the local file/pathname to slashes, but this is not essential because firefox for example will translate the link on its own an will change i.e. a link like "file://c:\documents and Settings\test.txt" automatically to "file://c:/documents and Settings/test.txt".

Greetings from germany.
