Feature requests / Re: SyncML
« on: August 26, 2009, 07:49:20 pm »
Hi,

I'm using Funambol to sync agenda & contacts and it really is easy to use!
Although, I can't tell anything to hook into it ;)

Ideas / Re: iPhone opengoo app development?
« on: August 26, 2009, 06:41:32 pm »
Hi,

I'm willing to sponsor this feature, but only if it will be useable on most of the modern mobile browsers (not just iPhone ;) )
Also, I can't give you the big mony, but I'm willing to sponsor 100 EUR and some development time of my own.

Edit: Maybe it might be usefull to keep an IRC-chat conversation on this topic? (with someone taking notes and make a summary  ::) )

Hi,

This could be extra interesting if the chat-history will be saved in Opengoo! And when chat-snippets can be used on other places in the workspace ...

Hi,

We've been giving some thoughts on this:
http://forums.opengoo.org/index.php?topic=2510.0

Further, I think making an app exclusively for the iPhone would narrow down you potential users ... There are more smartphone then just tha iPhone ;-)

Feature requests / Re: Mobile version
« on: August 25, 2009, 06:59:06 am »
Hi,

What a pitty!!!

Can we make a (totally seperated) version of Opengoo? From scratch, with everything scripted for exclusively Mobile use?

The features have to be the same, i think, but this way, we have a mobile version of opengoo ...

You understood it right!
I use version 1.5.2 with Prism on Windows 7

Hello,

I think this might be a good start!
One thing to consider:
Can we get the basic features working with just a template?

PS What browser do you use? I use Opera, and I think it can't work with JS.

Hi,

I've been thinking about it also a lot ...
A version without the Javascript (as far as i know, there is no mobile browser yet with js-support ....) and all the content visible and the possibility to edit everything.

Any other opinions?

Ideas / Re: Bugtracker for Opengoo
« on: August 19, 2009, 04:07:49 pm »
Hi,

You indeed may have a point here ... Most of us might think a bugtracker isn't technical, but it is. I've also tried to use mantis with non-technical users, but it never got right.

Hi,

Indeed, a system-cron is needed.

I think the cron-mail-check doesn't seem to work very well .. No idea how this comes ... Can you tell me if yours does work well?

Hi,

May it be possible you missed something in the administration part? There is a part "Cronjobs", no?

Older versions / Strange position of "Close"
« on: August 18, 2009, 03:06:06 pm »
Hi,

I have a file in OpenGoo and when I look at the file, the position of the Close "button is little out of place.
The strange thing though: It doesn't seem to happen with any other file. So, no big problem, but just strange.

While typing this message I "discovered" why the strange behaviour happened:
When you attache an object with a long name to the (or a) file, you will see this behaviour also. Am I correct?

How can I solve the problem? Changing the name of the object isn't an option ...
