Just found this old message in Bugs:

Can't reply to it, but it seems like exactly what's happening to me. However, with the solution the author suggested, I'm still not seeing any anomalies in the Contacts table, so if anyone can point me to what I should be looking for, I'd appreciate it.

I set up an email and when I click New Email, I get the Back button and the whitespace below is populated with dozens of contacts, but it is not editable and there are no tools for writing the email.

It seems to be grabbing Company names separated by commas.

Well, the whole beta installation we're testing is in a dev environment. But I'm getting errors that I can't create anything because there are no contexts.

I managed to create dimensions directly in the database, but I'm not sure how to create a context. And it seems you can't do anything until you do.

Feature requests / Remove contact from workspace, keep others

When moving an object, the choices are "Keep in existing workspaces" which essentially copies the object to the new workspace, and "Remove from all workspaces" after which it will only be in one workspace.

It would be greatly beneficial to be able to move a contact from on workspace to another, and keep the others. So when an object is dragged, the options might be:

• Copy to workspace
• Move to workspace, keep others
• Move to workspace, remove from all others

General Discussion / WordPress and Feng Community

Has anyone ever tried to link the authentication between the two? With a WordPress website and FO for project management, it would be great to have one login even though the interface doesn't need to merge.

I imagine if they're on the same webspace, both using PHP/MySQL, it should be possible, but I don't know how complicated it would be.

Actually, what would be great is a third option when moving: Move from this workspace only.

If you have a contact that is in a Chamber of Commerce workspace, and an Active Customer workspace, and you have a separate workspace for you to track calls, you could drag a contact into the "Call" workspace. When you make the call, you can drag them to another status workspace, taking them out of the "Call" workspace, but leaving them in the other two.

So pursuant to that question, is there a place we could drag a contact that is in a workspace to remove them from that workspace as easily as we can add them?

In a workspace "Calls," I have a contact that I have called, now to remove it, I would need to go through the edit and unselect the check box.

Would it be possible to have an option for each workspace to be prefixed or suffixed with a number that indicates number of a) new items, b) tasks that are due or something else?

It would be nice to be able to drag a workspace to a different sort order. Otherwise alphabetical is fine.
