How To's / Re: Comment ordering?

Could this be done with time slots, too? Would it be a similar edit?

Just discovered (don't laugh) that you can drag selected contacts around. That may be all I need!

How To's / Default time format
« on: June 22, 2011, 02:27:35 pm »
I have the time format to not use the 24-hour clock in the default and in my profile settings but it still shows a 24-hour clock. Anyone else have this happen?

That pretty much sums it up. If I create generic fields and properties or add them as custom properties, can I add them to the list view of the contacts?

As you view a contact, there should be a button to Create New and a drop-down for other objects so that when you create a new whatever, it's automatically linked to the contact.

This would be most helpful for tasks to call a contact so that you don't have to create a task and backlink it to the contact.

I imagine it would be helpful to have an any-to-any object connection, such as if you are viewing a document (say a PDF of an upcoming event) and you could easily Create New>Event that would be linked to the document.

Additionally, to be able to select multiple contacts and move them in or out of a workspace.

Is there a way to select a group of contacts and update them all to include another workspace?

How To's / Re: Repeating task with settings
« on: June 03, 2011, 08:41:41 am »
I think it's helpful. They need to know what people like and don't like. We have been using it extensively, but still rely heavily on another calendar.

But in addition to the above comments, I'd like to repeat a task every day except Sat/Sun. It might seem like an easy issue to ignore, but having those tasks show up just adds clutter.

How To's / Re: Event start and end date

Not exactly. We have a show that covers two days. So I need to set an event to be all day for two days. If I set it to the max hours, that's only 23:45 and doesn't cover the following day.

I'd rather not create two separate events when it's really one continuing event.

Thanks.

But I'm looking for the added functionality of repeating every third thursday or something to that effect as well.

The only options I have are to repeat by the actual date. If I want something to happen every month and use a numeric date, it could fall on a weekend. I'd rather be able to set it based on other rules.

Development / Show newest comments first
« on: May 23, 2011, 03:35:25 pm »
I thought it might be fairly easy to change a MySQL statement to order the comments with newest first, but I can't track it down.

Anyone know where I'd go to find that SELECT statement?

How To's / Repeating task with settings
« on: May 23, 2011, 08:47:14 am »
I saw an ooold discussion asking for repeating tasks, which are supported, but we can't set a task as the third Thursday of the month or by date of the month, etc.

Is there a way to do this, or is it an option that is planned?

Ideas / Discussion forum in Feng?
« on: May 19, 2011, 04:47:38 pm »
I tried to search for an answer to this, but searching for "discussion" and "forum" in a discussion forum is none too fruitful.

Is there any functionality (or plans of it) to create discussions in workspaces? I thought maybe of creating note as a topic and commenting in discussion, but there would be no substitute for a forum discussion tied to a workspace.

Thanks.

Is there a way to set an event to span more than one day?

I didn't see this response until just now. I'm pretty sure your suggestion is exactly what the problem was, but I stumbled upon it a few days later.

Yes, they needed access permission for the workspace.

Thanks.
