Minoru Tanaka hasn't made any posts on the forum but you can contact him by sending him a personal message. He's the official translator because he contributed the current Japanese translations. Nowadays he's a little but busy with his job so you can help him with translations if you want. In a couple of weeks OpenGoo 1.5 beta will be out so there will be new text to translate.
Thanks.

I'll contact him after I complete the first stage of my work.

Best regards.

Older versions / countries.php of language file

Hi,

I'm very new to OpenGoo and recently check Japanese translation files.
While at work, I refer country.php of TYPOlight webCMS and I found two
kind of bugs in countries.php of OpenGoo.

Code: [Select]
    'country tp' => 'East Timor',

Current East Timor's country code is "tl" and "tp" is phasing out (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Timor).

Code: [Select]
    'country zr' => 'Zaire',

Zaire is Democratic Republic of the Congo whose country code is "cd"
since 1997.

I don't know concrete of this country code's but I think these should be
up to date.

Best regards.

> That would be great!
BTW, the official Japanese translator, mtanaka seems to create this
forum's account but he have posted no article...

And with OpenGoo 1.4.2, I found that Korean translation is added and
it should be "ko_kr" instead of "kr_ko."  (ko is language code for Korean
and kr is country code of OKorea.)

And more, please write changing of these langage/country name in language
directory.  Since a user still have old name in her/his account data, she/he
would  be confused by losing her/his localizaiton item data when opengoo
is updated.

Best  regards.

BTW, there are a numer of missing translation in current Japanese translation
file and I found a few incorrect translation.  I'll start to fix them slowly.

Best regards.

Hi,

I'm very new to opengoo but  I've just added it pkgsrc (NetBSD package collection, http://www.pkgsrc.org/ ).

My simple question is why "jp_ja"?  I think it should be "ja_jp" like other languages.

Best regards.
