Feature requests / to be ABLE to DOWNLOAD items from the TRASH workspace

Dear Administrator,

I have noticed that no user (incudling the Administrator) is able to DOWNLOAD items from the TRASH workspace [FROM THE LIST VIEW] directly to the local machine. Instead, users must click on each individual item, and then choose the 'download' function under 'Action' menu.

Users can download any documents from other workspaces from the list view already! So the function exists.

Can it be added (the black arrow download icon) to the TRASH workspace list view as well?

Feature requests / To display # of all SELECTED objects

Dear Administrator,

one function is still missing in the Feng Office.

When selecting items (i.e. notes, documents, tasks, etc.) in the list view, user does not know how many items were selected (unless, the user counts manually, one item at the time).

It would of a great help to have a simple reflection (a number) of total selected items displayed in the right lower corner (next to the line "Displaying objects 1 to x of x). Windows OS, MAC, and other systems have implemented this feature long time ago.

Would it be possible to consider this function in one of the following Feng Office releases?

is there a way to display more than 50 documents under "DOCUMENT" module in the list view per page. I would like to 100 documents displayed per page.

Feature requests / Adding 'Middle Name' FIELD besides the first & last name under Contacts

Dear Administrator,

Suggestion:
To have the 'Middle Name' field besides the First Name and Last name fields when/while creating a New Contact.

Elaboration:
As middle names are being used more often than not, and this is true by  many cultures around the globe, I would kindly suggest to move the Field 'Middle Name' (from the subcategory "Other") and place it besides the First Name and Last Name at the very top of the page (to have it readily accessible) when creating a New Contact. The Email Field could be moved to the second line instead of keeping it on the fist line.

Here is the Layout I am suggesting:

First Name                                    Middle Name                                   Last Name
:_________                                  :___________                                 :__________

Email
:_________


The second alternative for the Email filed, is simply to be completely moved under the subcategory "Email and Instant Messaging"

can the feng office admin customize the Activity module, i.e. so that it only shows/reflects certain work-spaces vs. all work-spaces a user has access to?

Feature requests / "Site Under Maintanance" lock down option

Dear Administrator,

same function that is present in Joomla script, when the admin chooses to shut down the entire site from the public, Joomla offeres an option where by a simple mouse click, the entire site is redirected to a 'maintenance' page alerting the public that the site is under 'maintanance' and we'll be back online at a designated time/date, etc.

Can the same function be added to the Feng Office?

one common confusion we had in the past was that we have classified the incoming emails to a specific workspace. In order to see emails (present/old) the user needs to be in the same workspace, otherwise, no emails will be shown.

How To's / my feng office is using too much ram. Help!

Dear Admin,

we are using the community version 6.22 of the Feng Office. Analyzing the memory and cpu usage, it gives us very high readings. All what we are doing during this time is simply trying to login, and then just browse through various workspaces.

Here is the replay we got from the admin:

"Hello

I have checked your issue and it seems to be some module or some part of your code is having heavy memory leak which is requesting extra heavy amount of memory which the webserver is failing to serve. You need to fix the code. Please contact any developers regarding this and they will be able to help you on this.

Feature requests / Re: Automatic Classification of Email attachments

You can choose this email setting at the time when you are setting up a new email account in the Feng Office or you can always edit a destination workspace for emails in your email account setting:

Accounts > Edit Account > (here you choose already existing email account)
and then scroll down and look for the following:

"Autoclassify to workspace"
 If selected, all email sent to or from this account will be automatically classified to the selected workspace.
