Thanks for your reply francisco.

I have replaced all the folders except Config and Upload. I;ve not changed any databas code.

So I'm still fine to go ahead selecting latest (1.6.2) as my current installation?

17
I'm upgrading from 1.7.3.1 to 1.7.4

having unpacked 1.7.4 and following the installation instruction:

"5. Go to <your_feng>/public/upgrade in your browser and choose to upgrade from your current version to 1.7"

but my current version 1.7.3.1 iis not listed for me to select. Its defauting to 1.1 and give me drop down option up to 1.6.2

Any suggestions? Is this normal? What cuurent version can I safely select?

Feature requests / Re: Better mobile browser support

Fantastic news to hear you have resources to fix mobile support - when is this likely to appear?

OK, so we reinstalled. Now have Feng Office back, but still with our annoyinglhy persistent  "Error 403: Forbidden whenever "CC" appears in email text".

 :(

Thanks, Francisco.

Well, I found this at that link:

Quote
Change the permissions of the following folders to 775 (or 777 on some hostings): /cache, /config, /tmp, /upload, /public/files

I tried changing those directories to 755 and then 777. But I still had the problem.

Then I saw the comment at that link:

Quote
Set the file permissions to 755 (make sure it is done recusrively on the whole [feng office] directory

which I then did. But that resulted in a:

Quote
500 Internal Server Error

and now I have no access at all to my Feng Office installation  :'(

Thanks, Francisco.

Can you point me to a place where I can find the definitive list of suggested permissions?

Installation problems / Re: Can't write Mails in HTML
« on: January 11, 2011, 11:47:35 am »
We have same problem  of not being able to write html emails after upgrade from 1.7 -> 1. 7.3.1 - not able to access email body container.

Clearing cache doens't work and we're using English language.

 ???

Currently running 1.7, but we've had this problem over several version and on serveral diferent server hosts:

PROBLEM
• Can't send or save draft email, results in message "Error 403: Forbidden"
• Can't create task from email,  results in message "Error 403: Forbidden"

WHEN
• When creating in email by "reply to" that includes "CC:" in the copied text (i.e. when the original email that is copied into the new email includes a CC addressee).
• When creating a task frrom an email when the Description field includes "CC:" in the copied email text.

WORK AROUND
For sending email the following seems to be the only work around:

1. Cut the text from the email.
2. Change email format to Plain Text.
3. Paste the text back in.
4. Remove the "CC" or just one "C" from the text.

NB Just changing to plain text OR just removing the CC is not enough on its own.

We love using Feng Office but this is the most annoying and time consuming of problems. Does anyone know where the the problem is located or a fix for iti?

We were using an older Mac OS 10.4 system with older Safari browser when this problem was occuring.

After upgrading to Mac OS 10.5.8 and Safari 4.0.4 the problem has gone away.

Forgot to mention, this is only with one non-admin user. All other users have the full Task functionality.

Anyone got any ideas?

We're getting this error message when clicking the "Tasks" tab, and showing a blank tab.

Error can't find variable: rx_TasksDrag
