Older versions / Read before posting
« on: April 13, 2009, 12:10:22 pm »
Before submitting a bug report please do the following first:

  • You can get more information about an error by enabling debug mode. You can do this by editing file 'config/config.php' and setting the constant DEBUG to true, like this:
        define('DEBUG', true);
    This will output more info about errors to the browser or to file 'cache/log.php'. Please include this info when submitting a bug.
  • Please post in the subject the OpenGoo version number that is causing the bug.
  • Please tell us which browser (name and version) are you using, as well as which web server and versions of PHP and MySQL.
  • Try searching the forums for a similar bug report. Just a quick search can sometimes help. We won't get mad at you if you post the bug without searching first, but searching can save you some time.

Thanks

Announcements / OpenGoo 1.2.1 stable is out!
« on: February 24, 2009, 02:15:39 pm »
This version of OpenGoo corrects some bugs and issues in version 1.2. If you are still using version 1.1 we strongly recommend you to upgrade to version 1.2.1. Upgrading is easy: unzip the new files into your OpenGoo 1.1. installation replacing your old files with new files, then surf to <your opengoo>/public/upgrade, follow the instructions and you're done! It's a good practice to backup your installation before upgrading (just in case).

The list of fixes in this version since 1.2 is:
   - usability: Changed the behavior of the "Show notification checkbox" user config option. Now it always shows the checkbox but it's checked or unchecked by default depending on this config option.
   - usability: Now you will be notified of new versions of OpenGoo.
   - bugfix: Fixed some layout problems in the object's view in IE.
   - bugfix: Notification checkboxes weren't working correctly when adding or editing an event.
   - bugfix: Clicking on "+1 more" on the calendar's monthly view would ignore the saved calendar filters.
   - bugfix: Error in Notifier when deleting an object.
   - bugfix: Wrong date shown on a Note's print view.
   - system: Changed how emails are stored, which will let you receive larger emails.
   - security: Fixed a security vulnerability that would allow a normal user to modify his own permissions.

Feng Office 1 / Error when viewing a task with no due date.
« on: February 04, 2009, 11:05:03 am »
When you try to view a task with no due date you get an error 500. You can fix it by changing line 16 on 'application/views/task/task_list.php' from:
Code: [Select]
<?php if ($task_list->getDueDate()->getYear() > DateTimeValueLib::now()->getYear()) { ?>
  <div class="dueDate"><span><?php echo lang('due date'?>: </span><?php echo format_date($task_list->getDueDate(), null0?></div>
<?php } else { ?>
  <div class="dueDate"><span><?php echo lang('due date'?>: </span><?php echo format_descriptive_date($task_list->getDueDate(), 0?></div>
to:
Code: [Select]
<?php if ($task_list->getDueDate() instanceof DateTimeValue) { ?>
<?php if ($task_list->getDueDate()->getYear() > DateTimeValueLib::now()->getYear()) { ?>
  <div class="dueDate"><span><?php echo lang('due date'?>: </span><?php echo format_date($task_list->getDueDate(), null0?></div>
<?php } else { ?>
  <div class="dueDate"><span><?php echo lang('due date'?>: </span><?php echo format_descriptive_date($task_list->getDueDate(), 0?></div>
<?php // if ?>
<?php // if ?>

This will be fixed on 1.2 RC2.
