Hi,

have you tried upgrading to 3.2.2.1 first? I made the experience that usually it's the best in FO to go from e.g. 1.1 -> 1.2 instead of 1.1 -> 1.5 (set whatever Version for 1 here).

I think there's a problem with cache!  After uncertainty time, FO shows just what's above on the screen (logo line), below everything is blank. When it happens, I must rename Cache folder, clean my nav cache, restart the page, rename Cache to original name. Only after that, it works again a little more.

Someone can help?

Hi bukbr,

The fact that this post has been dormant for so long is probably due to the version being quite old (Posts are from 2010 and is now 2015) and most of the users have successfully upgraded.

Ignacio did respond what I believe is a good (while generalist) explanation:

There's not one single guide to solve all problems. It depends on the problem.

Here is a guide for different types of upgrades.

If you need to perform an upgrade on an important installation and need specific help, please do PM me or contact the team.

first of all, thanks for your time!
The Fix didnt work for me, in Line 73 there is no "INSERT INTO", just this:

DELETE FROM `<?php echo $table_prefix ?>report_columns` WHERE `custom_property_id` <> 0 AND `custom_property_id` NOT IN (SELECT `id` FROM `<?php echo $table_prefix ?>custom_properties`);

and deleting it dindt fix it!

Updating... after a clean install 3.2rc it works great.

If I upgrade from 3.0.7, I get the partial blank screen as mentioned before.

Is there a way to make a clean install and import all settings, files and mysql from 3.07?

Or, is there any other way to upgrade 3.0.7?

Edit file config/configuration.php and change define('DEBUG', false); to true, and see if any errors appears on screen.

Didn't work. Still blank! No error messages...

Delete file /cache/autoloader.php

I did... after that screen become totally blank!

After a clean install or upgrade from 3.1.5 to 3.2, I see only the top of page... below everything is blank.

This happens after log on.

What to do in this case?

I found a fix for version 3.1:

look for line number 1119 in the file application/controllers/TaskController.class.php

change:
$date_groups['conditions'] = $condition;

to:
$group_2['conditions'] = $condition;

Worked great on 3.0.7, thank you very much.
