Strangly enough, this has resurfaced. It happens in both IE8 and in FF3.5.
From the dashboard, I am unable to click the link on the top and select the link location or open it in another browser

and again if I do click that link, I get the same garbled code

From the front page of my installation, if I open the notes widget, I can click on individual notes, I can also click on Show more (5)... or show all --> but if I click show all, I get the same as the image above.

this is the widget, after clicking Show more (5)...

the link for Show more is
http://enchanted-graphics.com/goo/index.php?c=access&a=index#
the link for Show All is
http://enchanted-graphics.com/goo/index.php?c=access&a=index#

I have cleared my cache, restarted my computer, etc.

Just a follow up to this. The problem appears to be isolated to one machine, so it is obviously related to that computer/browser and not OG! Whew!

yes, I have done that.

but on another note, while I cannot access the notes through the link at the top of the dashboard, when I enter the workspace I can access the notes through the widget ... and last night's notes are there.

and from the link at the top right of the page, I can add a new note.

I just cannot access notes from the link on the dashboard, which is where I usually access my notes. but at least there are options.

Last night I was making notes ... no problems at all. I didn't make any changes to my installation, no changes to my database, just creating a few notes. No problems.

This morning I logged in to look over my notes and no matter where I look (all workspaces, or in a specific workspace) ... my notes are no longer available from the dashboard. This is what I see:

Code: [Select]
GIF89a!,D;
Now, if i enter "notes" into my search, I can display the notes and if I am in a specific workspace it will show the notes for that workspace ....  but I'm not see the notes from last night ...

And I do not have the ability to create new notes.

sorry for taking so long to get back ... had other things going on ... anyway, I have looked through old archives and don't find the database backed up in any of them. there are no errors related to OG in my hosting error log.

hi there Ignacio and thank you for the advice. For the time being, I have uninstalled 1.5, reverted back to 1.4.2 and reverted the database as well.  I'm really not certain about upgrading to 1.5 at this point because I need a working copy of OG lol. I think in the future I will do manual upgrades, and I will simply delete the old files off the server and upload the new ones, rather than overwriting them.

I am trying to restore the database from within phpMyAdmin. I am getting an error:

Code: [Select]

Well, now everything is completely messed up. I deleted all the files from my server, uploaded clean 1.4.2 files, keeping my config.php file (from 1.4.2) and now I'm getting more errors. My workspaces are all in place. I can click on the admin links with no problems. I can click on the Account links with no problems.

On the dashboard, Notes, Contacts, and Documents appear to be fine.
However, Overview, Calendar, Tasks, and Time are all giving me a DB Query error.

i deleted the code because it wasn't helpful

Installation problems / Reverting to 1.4.2 from 1.5

Installing 1.5 completely broke my OG installation  :(

I have had to remove all the files from my server and upload the 1.4.2 files.

I had a fatal error as reported in this post.

Now that I've successfully downloaded and upgraded from 1.4.2 to 1.5, I can't access anything within the open goo installation. I get a fatal error anytime I load the site or click on any link

this is one example:
Fatal error: Call to private method ProjectMessages::getWorkspaceString() from context 'ObjectController' in /home/xxx/public_html/goo/application/controllers/ObjectController.class.php on line 770

I just logged out and tried to log back in and received this error:
Fatal error: Undefined class constant 'ACTION_LOGIN' in /home/xxx/public_html/goo/application/controllers/AccessController.class.php on line 149
