Everybody can see everybody's tasks?
« on: March 13, 2009, 06:02:44 pm »
Hi. I am looking for a project management solution and I feel that OpenGoo is really the way to go. It looks great and it's intuitive and so easy to explain to others.
Congrats to everyone involved, really!

However, there seems to be a problem I cannot overcome. Let's suppose that we have several users, all having read access to a specific project. We create milestones and tasks and assign each of them to a specific person. The person sees the tasks assigned to them when they log in and everything is great.

The problem is that every person can also see every other person's tasks (if they so desire, by tinkering a little with the task filters). Is this behavior by design or have I botched something somewhere?

This is kind of a deal-breaker, although I am trying to find ways to overcome it (given all the great qualities of the suite). Any help would be appreciated (I don't mind messing with the code a little if I get a few hints).

Thanks in advance. Keep up the great work!
