confirmation mail
« on: September 17, 2008, 06:40:30 am »
First, please excuse my spelling and writing, I'm french and English speaker newbie ^^

My problem is that when I want add a user, I get the OK message, but the user never receives the confirmation mail that contains his password.

I work on a debian server on which I installed apache2, php5.2, mysql5, sendmail.
Do you know what I have to do to do it sending mails to users ?

Thanks

Hi judu,

Under Administration / Mailing you can setup how email is sent by the system. By default the PHP settings are used. If your PHP settings work with other applications but not with OpenGoo there's a problem and we'll have to look at it together. You can otherwise choose to send email through an email account, by selecting 'SMTP Server' as the mail transport and filling in the required parameters (server, username, etc.).

Hope this helps a bit :)
