Manage notification emails verbosity

Is there a method to do that?
I want only emails notification when a task is opened and when is completed. I don't want all the emails sent at every modification. Can't find an option like that in administration.

Any help would be appreciated.

When creating a task there is an option for sending notifications or not. There also is a user option at 'Account' > 'Edit preferences' > 'Task options' related to this.

Otherwise you would have unsubscribe from the task.
