Contact record import - Country

I'm importing contact records via CSV file and even though I am entering in "Canada" it does not seem to be working.

Where the country should be listed I am seeing:

<span style="font-weight: bolder; color: red;">Missing lang: country Canada</span>

Whaaaaat!  Canada is missing!!!!!

No, Canada is listed however it does not seem to pick it up via import.

oh I see.  I just checked mine and one of my entries shows this in the country field in OG:
