super administrator lost permissions
« on: September 03, 2013, 02:34:43 pm »
I'm  using openoffice 2.2-beta.
When I was trying to change the user type of a regular user (I was root -  The super adminstrator) and  I suppose I changed the root user type instead of the other account.
Now root (super administrator) don't shows "administration" option and looks like a regular user.
A second administrator account I has have the "administration" link but it's empty.

I should appreciate a help to change the super administrator user type directly on mysql database.

Assuming you are in fact using FENG office and not OPEN office, I would suggest you read the wiki which outlines how to fix this...  specifically at this link:

fengoffice.com/web/wiki/doku.php/change_to_superadministrator

All the best!

Thank you very much!!!

Despite I didn't have read the wiki I tried to search it and also search the feng office site and this forum with many terms... but I didn't find any solution.

This was exactly what I needed.

Thank you again.
