Automatic upgrade fails

There is no upgrade path from version 1.4-beta2 to 1.4.
Does that mean a manual upgrade will also fail?

No, manual update should work.
Maybe some files were not extracted correctly at auto update.

Try automatic update again, and if it doesn't work try doing it manually.

I do have the same problem when doing the automatic upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4. Then I tried the manual update and I got  "You already have upgraded to the latest possible version".
What can I do?

You just have to restart opengoo :)

It's written "You already have upgraded to the latest possible version" because you managed to update you opengoo to the latest possible version ;)

I did restart opengoo but the pop-up menu "New version" is still showing up and I do not see the new  1.4 features like custom reports or custom properties so I did not upgrade.

modify the file 'config/installed_version.php', set the return value to "1.3.1", after that try to update manually.
