Mail not Sent for New Events

Hi OpenGoo Team,

Not sure if I am missing something or we have Some Problem with 1.4 Release.

I was using 1.3.1 and upgraded to 1.4 through manual process.  However after the upgrade mails are not being sent for New Events Scheduled [I have selected the users and 'Send Email Notification' Checkbox].  It used to work perfectly fine earlier.

Other Observations:

1.  I  am able to send mails using Mass Mail Utitly.
2.  I am using PHP SendMail
3.  Mails are successfully sent for Subscribed user.

Looking forward for your positive response.

Please let me know in case you need any additional information from my end.

Thanks for prompt response.

It would be really great if you could please let me know when is next release scheduled.

Also, if you could provide us with a Patch/Instructions to fix  this will be of great help.
