Unable to Save Documents (Fixed - User Error)
« on: May 22, 2009, 11:18:22 am »
Fresh install.
When I try to save a new document or save change to an existing document, the document never saves.  Uploading documents works fine.

Any ideas?

Hi,
Does any error message appears?

Do you have the DEBUG option set to true?, in 'config/config.php'.
if not, try enabling it, refresh the browser, and then after reproducing that issue, look at 'cache/log.php', if an error occurred, a log should be there.

I would appreciate if you could give me some of this information.
thanks

Ok found the problem thanks!
HTMLPurifier files had the wrong permissions. (part of the problem)

The other problem was that comments are required, however  if you do not enter comments and click ok, the dialog box just sits there.  If would be good if in the future when pressing ok a message states that comments are required.

Again thanks for the quick response.
