opengoo 1.4 not working in PRISM
« on: May 23, 2009, 02:13:43 am »
When I upgraded to 1.4 from 1.31, opengoo in PRISM does not work anymore. I only get the top part of the appilcation and not the content area. I see the 'loading' image but after its gone, it displays nothing

I was going to post this very same thing.  My Prism app does not work anymore, the description above matches my situation exactly.  I tried creating a new prism app, but that did not work either. I'm at a loss to determine what could be causing this.

Hi,

i had the problem too, but after thinking it all over I found the solution:

As Prism isn't much more then a stripped browser, it also has some kind of cache. When you empty this, OpenGoo will work again.

I did this on my laptop, but the I can't find how I did it ... Hopefully you can find the answer on Google!

Yes, that worked, thank you koko.

1. close Prism.

2. To empty the cache directory (Win XP), go to the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\<loginName>\Local Settings\Application Data\Prism\<webAppName>\Profiles\????????.default\Cache\

3. select all (ctrl-A), delete all the files in the \Cache folder.

4. restart Prism

That's it

For Windows 7: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Prism\<app name>\Profiles\xxxxxx.default
